Gillian Parker is an ambitious young businesswoman who, in July 2009, opened her first vintage and retro fashion boutique in Gourock. At only 23 years old, Gillian already has a First Class Honours degree in Fashion Business under her belt, achieved from Glasgow Caledonian University in July 2008. 

Always with a love for vintage fashion, in 2008 Gillian sought guidance from both Scottish Enterprise and the Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust, who helped her realise the dream of owning her own business.

The award-winning business Sew Vintage has been a huge hit with the locals of Inverclyde, and those from further a field. The boutique has been warmly received within the local area and with increasing press attention, Gillian already has a loyal army of stylish fashionistas who regularly grace Sew Vintage to browse the weekly updated stock.
